Question of the Day

Most of you saw the post about gay men giving up a year of their lives for the perfect body.

So my question for everyone is... What would you give up a year of your life for?

If I already new I would live well into my 80's or 90's, I would give up a year of my life for lifelong financial stability. Never having to worry about bills, rent, mortgage, or loans would be worth losing a year to me.

Xand Gunn came up with a better answer than I had in mind, so I'm going to have go with his answer.

I don't think I would give up a year for anything.

I agree with Bob.

I'm with Bob, V, I not sure I can think of anything I'd give a year of my life for. Maybe to save a person I love? To cure an incurable person. Save a species that will become extinct otherwise. That might make me feel the exchange was equal. Still not much of a bargain unless you are able to eliminate broad ranges of suffering or do something really special with it. I can do a lot in a year. Every second counts.
